Duropac was approached by Ferme des Voltigeurs Inc, a national producer of organic and grain-fed poultry products to help with brand enhancement and alleviating custom printed bag cost.

Duropac, since 1993 has supplied the Canadian food market with vacuum pouches and modified atmospheric packaging (MAP) products especially for slaughterhouses, food processing plants, butchers, delicatessens, co-packers, and retailers.

Jean-François Bourdeau, chief executive officer at Duropac, recalls Ferme des Voltigeurs was looking for a supplier that was easier to work with but also has a proven onboarding process.

He also noted that the customer was keen on working with the Duropac team because of low minimum order requirements, low printing plate costs, and competitive prices.

“The shrink level is very good, and the appearance of the bags on store displays is very nice,” says Georges Jr. Martel, director of planning and marketing at Ferme des Voltigeur. “It’s a brilliant and nice-looking bag that catches the eye,” he added.
